Prayer Requests June 15, 2012

A reader writes:

I am hoping you can post a prayer request for my wife. She is taking her Nurse Practitioner certification test today (and has been studying for a very long time). Prayers that she does well so that we are able to move on to the next stage of our lives together would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Father, hear our prayer that she do well on the test, get certified, and find a good job in her field. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Another reader writes:

Katrina and her family over on Patheos’s Building Cathedrals blog could use some prayers. The Builders are Catholic women who write beautifully about small and big things in life.

Katrina’s baby was born and died on Tuesday.

Father, hear our prayer for the eternal repose of the soul Anastasia Rose and for consolation, grace, peace and strength for her parents, siblings, and all who love her. Thank you for the grace of baptism given her, and for the moving witness of her family to your Son. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Finally, a reader writes:

Please pray for Kris and Kristen Lauber as well as their children, Trinity and Jarrett. They lost their 2 month old daughter, Marleah Faith, unexpectedly this week. It appears it was a case of SIDS. May Jesus embrace them with his infinite consolation, peace and hope during this very sad time.

Father, hear our prayer for the repose of Marleah’s soul, and for grace, peace, strength, and healing for her family and all who love her, through Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
