A chance to do a work of mercy

A chance to do a work of mercy August 15, 2012

A reader writes:

My classmate was killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan this past week. He leaves behind a wife and two year old twins. A fund has been set up to help support his family and for the future education of his children. If you think it is appropriate, please post the link on your blog and invite your readers to help this grieving family. “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world” (James 1:27). Thanks for your consideration, and thanks for all the work you do to promote and defend our Faith.

Go for it, troops!
