A reader writes:
My daughter is having surgery Monday to put pins in her ankle to repair a break. We are especially concerned, because she has neurological issues as well as severe allergic reactions, so there is great potential in her case for difficulty with both anesthesia and pain control.
Father, hear our prayer for a successful, pain-free, and untroubled surgery and recovery. Grant her swift healing, in body, soul, and spirit to her; compassion, skill and wisdom to her caregivers; and grace, comfort and peace to all who love her. Mother Mary and St. Luke, prayer for all concerned. We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
