Catholic and Enjoying It!
A reader writes:
A friend’s 10 year old daughter has been in and out (mostly in) the hospital with acute myeloid leukemia, since December. As of this evening, she’s in the ICU with sepsis and blood pressure problems. Needless to say, this would be serious in a healthy person, let alone in a child with a very compromised immune system. I’d like to beg prayers on her behalf, and on behalf of her mother, father, and sister, who must be incredibly worried and scared.
Father, we ask your complete healing for this child in body, soul, and spirit. Grant grace, wisdom, skill, knowledge and compassion to her caregivers and grace, peace, strength and faith to all who love her. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
