A reader writes:
My cousin, Kristen, was told yesterday that she is developing cervical cancer and is most likely going to need a full hysterectomy. She is 26. She has been talking a lot lately about having children within the next few years.
Obviously, this news came as a huge shock and is devastating. Please pray for her.
Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Give grace, skill, knowledge and compassion to her caregivers and grace, peace, and strength to all who love her. Mother Mary, St. Peregrine, and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
