Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

Monica died on Sunday 14th. She is the fourth daughter that died to her mother. Her mother has no comfort. She cries almost every day. Monica was her special daughter. Formerly one of her sons was killed, another one died of a heart attack, and another one committed suicide. Then Monica was diagnosed with cancer. After two years of battling cancer Monica died. Her mother has no comfort. Please pray for her. She is devastated for this fourth loss. Thank you very much. Blessings.

Father, hear our prayer for the repose of the souls of the people who have died and grant comfort and consolation to their mother, who has lost so much. Mother Mary and St. Monica, pray for them. We ask this through Christ Crucified and Risen.

Just ran across a news item about an autistic fifteen-year-old here in Tennessee who’s been missing since this morning. His name is Michael Shawn Bell. Could your readers offer up a prayer for his safe return?

Father, we ask for Michael’s safe return to those who love him through our Lord Jesus Christ. Mother Mary and St. Michael, obtain for his protection and safe return.
