A reader offers a prayer

For the tiny town of Moscow, Kansas, and all of the firefighters who have been battling a blaze since Tuesday night right at the edge of town and trying to keep it contained. Somewhere around 60,000 hay bales are burning. The town was evacuated during the night as the winds began to shift. Please pray for favorable weather/wind conditions, for the safety of the firefighters, and for protection for the town.

Father, hear our prayer through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary, pray for all involved in this situation.
