Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Hi, I’m a recent reader and I noticed that you occasionally post prayer requests from readers. I was hoping you could post this one anonymously because I’m trying not to betray a friend’s trust, but she dearly needs prayer. She’s broke, unmarried and pregnant and has decided to get an abortion, partly because the pro-life people in her life have been incredibly rude and pushy with her but the pro-choice people are all telling her how much they’ll respect any choice she makes. I really can’t say anything to her without making her want the abortion even more. I can’t even post a prayer request on Facebook for my friends because we have mutual friends who will see it and she’ll find out I’m talking about her. So I hope that you’ll please ask your readers to pray with me for my friend. Thank you!

Father, hear our prayer that your daughter choose life for her child.  Mother Mary, pray for her that God give her the grace and courage to do what is right and send her people who can show her kindness and love and not anger.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
