A reader writes:
I would really appreciate if you could ask for prayers for myself, my husband and our six children. Within 24 hours I have found out that I have stage 2 breast cancer, and I am several weeks pregnant. I am so overwhelmed, I don’t know what to think. Any prayers people could offer would be so helpful. I haven’t been able to tell all our family yet, so if you could leave off my name, I would appreciate it.
Father, hear our prayer for her swift healing and for the safe delivery of her baby. Give her caregivers grace, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, skill and compassion and give all who love her grace, peace and strength. Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
