Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

May I ask for prayers for all the victims of this tragedy, their families and everybody else involved, but particularly for that young man being haunted by the question “Why me” after escaping two life-threatening incidents in the last 3 months but finding himself unable to do anything to help save his co-workers.

Father, hear our prayer for all these people and all who love them, especially for that young man. Mother Mary, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!

My sister just lost her unborn child – please pray for her, her husband and the soul of the child.

Father, hear our prayer for the repose of this baby’s soul and for healing for the child’s mother and father in body, soul, and spirit. Mother Mary and St. Gianna Molla, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Another reader writes:

Please pray for Josh. He’s 17, his house burned down two weeks ago and he is living in a chaotic and dangerous situation at the home of a friend’s mother (temporary–he has to be out by August 7th). I’m not at all certain what to do beyond praying, but this is the single most important thing to me right now. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
