1) My friend Ian just can’t seem to hold down a job this year. After a few firings, he was recently laid off from a job he was doing very well at due to a drop-off in business. His boss said she was very happy with his performance (he was tending bar at a BBQ restaurant), but couldn’t afford to keep him on right now. She did say she’d give him a call if business picked back up, but she was already having difficulty scheduling him.
So, he needs work really badly. Prayers appreciated, and if anyone out there in New York City is willing to offer a job to a cool 29 year-old Catholic guy with a great work ethic, please email me at [email protected] and I’ll put you in touch.
2) I’ve got a dream job interview coming up this wednesday, so prayers appreciated on that front.
Father, hear our prayer for both of these men. Mother Mary an St. Joseph, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please pray for Aldo and his family. He is the adopted son of my cousin. He recently returned from his honeymoon, and my cousin realized there was something wrong. She convinced him to go to the hospital, and he was admitted into the psychiatric ward of the hospital. While he was there, he attacked a man, who has since died (please pray for the repose of his soull as well). This is a terrible time for his family and (I’m sure) the friends and family of the victim as well.
Father, hear our prayer for both of these men and for all who love them. Grant mercy and healing to Aldo and let the victim find your everlasting mercy. Mother Mary, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
