Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

Please pray for a co-worker who is awaiting the results of a lymph node biopsy. She and her husband have three young children and they recently converted to the Catholic Church this past Easter. She has been bravely working through this heavy cross as she awaits the pathology report.

Father, hear our prayer that she receive a clean bill of health on cancer and that the illness be easily treatable.  Grant her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit that she can love you and her family for a long, full life.  Give her caregivers grace, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, skill, compassion and the proper technology to assist in her complete healing.  Give them the financial resources to meet this crisis.  Give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love and let all issue to the glory of your Name.  Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for them.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.

…a Married couple, infidelity is involved, but also underlying long term deep-seated communication and intimacy problems. We are both trying to help and keep hope alive to resolve. They have a 3 year old son. We have prayed desperately for them, but need help both for us and those who love them, and for them. We want to guide them to Retrouvaille, but we need to get through the current crisis to avoid complete meltdown.

Father, hear our prayer that this marriage be saved to the glory of your Name and the good of this family and the persons in it. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for them. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I am requesting prayers for a serious situation regarding the future of the small company where my husband works, and am asking you to please storm Heaven for his sake; he’s really worried about his future and that of his co-workers. Thanks in advance.
