    Hum… is it just mere storytelling? Because it seems more sophisticated than that.

    Isn’t it a little curious that the 14.000 figure contains a number that is 10.000 x 2 x 7? Seven being the number to go to to describe *a lot* in hebrew numerology? I think that there’s more at play here than a granny’s hyperbole.

    Also, if that interpretation is correct, the propaganda hypothesis is ruled out too. That number was never meant to be taken literally…
