Prayer Request

Prayer Request February 26, 2015

A reader writes:

In what would otherwise have been a hilarious pratfall, I broke my right arm tripping and falling while walking down the sidewalk in NYC on Dec 16.. After more than two months healing, the brace came off yesterday. But because of the force with which I fell (on a parked car!) I still have a lot of damaged muscles and tendons and the arm remains almost useless. I may still need a lot of physical therapy. Please pray for my continued healing and a good solution to my medical bills.

Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit and for plentiful provision for her financial needs. Grant her caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, creativity, insight, skill, and the proper technology to assist in that healing. Give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for her. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Please pray for Josh Hamilton (and for his family), who after years of clean living has apparently relapsed: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/josh-hamilton-meet-mlb-reports-impending-ban-article-1.2129558  All addiction stories are tragic, but this one especially so where this is a man who I’m sure has inspired many with his prior turnaround.

Please also pray for a personal work situation I am facing, as well as for all those facing such situations.

Father, hear our prayer for Mr. Hamilton’s deliverance from addiction and for my reader’s work situation.  Mother Mary, St. Joseph, and St. Luke, pray for them.  We ask this through your Son Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Thank you, and blessings and peace to you and your readers.

Also, please pray for a friend who is suffering with severe depression. Thanks, youse guys!
