I felt a great disturbance in the Force! March 24, 2015

It was as though the minds of a million Birthers cried wolf and were suddenly silenced.

So many electrons slain, so much dumb spent, so many hysteria volts wasted for years and years and years on Birtherism.

Further, Cruz’ father was born in Cuba, therefore Cruz is clearly a foreign-born communist infiltrator. ONLY THE BIRTHERS CAN SAVE AMERICA NOW.

But this time, it’s on the side of goodliness so it’s okay….right? Bleah.

Somehow this ties in with something I saw recently. A collection of people on the Right (not conservatives), who distrust the Gummint, want to restrict birthright citizenship to those they deem acceptable. And this decision as to who is a citizen and who is not will be made by — a gummint bureaucrat? (And this is much of the same crowd who were initially disappointed Ahnuld couldn’t run for President.)
Pardon my unholy glee at this development.

Trump was quick to raise the birth issue with respect to Cruz. You can’t fault the Donald for inconsistency since he was also a prominent Obama birther. Nice to know that the most pressing current issue will be extensively discussed in the primaries.
