The pope danced all around it, but couldn’t bring himself to say the words. He alluded to it, implied it, referenced it, and tiptoed up to it, but he refused to say it. And now *nobody* knows what he thinks–about climate change.

I mean, come on: “the environmental deterioration caused by human activity”? What does that even mean?

A tragic missed opportunity by an inscrutable pope who seems bound and determined to veil his true meaning in a cloud of undecodable words.
