An Orthodox Reader Returns to the Catholic Communion

An Orthodox Reader Returns to the Catholic Communion November 30, 2015

…and asks for prayer:

Mark, thank you for your short, but insightful answer to an Orthodox reader’s question about why you were not Orthodox. I was Orthodox … until yesterday, when I returned to the Catholic Church.

Your answer popped up in search results after I had turned to Google, in the midst of Pope Francis’ recent visit, asking Google about what really separated our churches. Your answer started me down a road of further study and prayer that led to yesterday.

Please pray for me, and for my family (also in Seattle), all of whom have, like me, fallen away from the faith.

Thanks be to God!  Welcome home!  If there is anything I can do to be of service, let me know. What parish do you go to?  I’m at Blessed Sacrament in the U District.

God grant you and your family fruitful growth in Holy Church through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Mother Mary, pray for them!
