Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

A colleague of mine has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Please ask your readers to pray for a complete, quick cure, and for all her family’s needs and intentions.

Father, hear our prayer for her complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Give her caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, skill, creativity, understanding, insight, and the proper technology to assist in her healing and give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love. Mother Mary, St. Luke, and St. Peregrine, pray for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!

A reader who suffered sexual abuse from her brother as a child and was branded a liar by her parents is only now coming to terms with it and writes, “I am feeling really despondent tonight, could you ask for prayers for me, please?”

Father, give this gentle beautiful daughter of yours the complete healing she needs in her soul. Give her the grace to forgive and let go of evil done her, with the knowledge that you were crucified in the evils done her and that you transform such death into life and peace and power. Heal her, forgive those who sinned against her and help her wounds become a souce of life to others. Mother Mary and St. Maria Goretti, pray for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
