Matthew Sheffield on the Core Lie at the Heart of the Party of Personal Responsibility

The great lie of the Party of Personal Responsibility apologists is that Trump is an aberration. He is no such thing. He is an apotheosis and until the Party of Responsibility faces that fact squarely and repents the fact that they and they alone are responsible for breeding and catechizing the base of racist misogynist morons who have anointed him King, they deserve every megaton of destruction he rains down on their feckless, irresponsible heads.  Trump did not invent the rampant racism, ignorant bellicosity, and misogyny that characterizes him and his base.  He merely saw that it was already there and exploited it skillfully.
