Do you know what John Wayne’s last film was?
Wrong! It was Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope:
John Wayne (May 26, 1907 – June 11, 1979) was an American actor. He provided the voice of Imperial spy Garindan in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope via stock audio, making this his last role in a film before his death. Wayne’s voice was processed greatly for the movie.
His voice for Garindan would be recycled in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and its compilation re-release, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
But wait! There’s more!:
Star Wars: The Mandalorian – John Wayne’s Grandson Is Pedro Pascal’s Double
Bryce Dallas Howard didn’t direct Pedro Pascal at all in The Mandalorian episode 4. Instead, it was Brendan Wayne in the Mandalorian armor.
It really makes you think about all the things and feel all the feels.
Okay. Try to resume your normal life–and fail. Everything you ever thought you knew is wrong!
