Some folks are asking why the feeds don’t give the whole text of the posts I put here

Basically, the answer is that the value of the virtual real estate here depends on the number of click throughs that come here.  The more pageviews, the more they pay me.  So the smart money is on my giving you a taste of a post and then you clicking through, thirsting to read more and ever more of my golden prose.  Patheos says, “Hey!  They are gobbling up Shea!  Let give him more money!”  With that money, I purchase food and clothing, shelter, light, heat, fruit bats, Hudsucker Industries extruded plastic dinguses and that ineffable sense of security born from knowing that my family will not need to live in our car next month.  So please: click through and tell your friends and neighbors to do likewise!
