Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Could you pray for a husband and wife. The husband has just announced that he is going to separate from her. Much detail could be said, but I don’t think it is really relevant. Their eleventh anniversary coming up soon. One wonders if there is more to it than meets the eye. Husband has, several times in the past, been involved in things he shouldn’t be, and kept them hidden – at least once involving drugs. I don’t know of any such thing now, but the whole thing is quite upsetting. His wife is, understandably, just about at her wit’s end. It would be so bad for the kids, too.

Father, hear our prayer that the husband will do the right thing and stay. Grant them the grace to work through their problems so that your glory will be seen in their healing and restoration through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for them.
