What now passes for standards in our culture

“Using blasphemy as entertainment is as cheap as a comedian telling a fart joke.”

It is a sad state of affairs when Katy Perry, a singer famous for a song about kissing another girl dares to criticize porn singer Lady Gaga over a blasphemous video, which includes Gaga swallowing a crucifix, nun rape and other sick stuff that just proves how desperate she is for even more attention.

Anyway, two thumbs up for Ms. Perry for speaking up against this kind of trash. In my opinion, Gaga is just another mind controlled sex slave that will be used, abused, and thrown out like yesterdays leftovers when her time’s over. She is a sad, sad woman inside who could use our prayers so she repents from the damage she is inflicting herself (and everyone like me, who just can’t stand most of her songs save for “Telephone”!).

I am blissfully ignorant of Lady Gaga’s entire corpus of work. I wonder what was on the Top 10 list in Babylon when the hand started writing “mene, mene, tekel, upharsin“.
