Some time ago I sent you a prayer request regarding my cousin. You posted it to your blog here.
I’m happy to report that–though I haven’t yet found out if she admitted to abusing drugs or plans on entering any recovery programs–she was recently “saved”, in the Protestant sense of the word, and she was baptized today. Considering the shape she was in, that’s quite a reversal.
So thank you for praying for her, and thanks to your minions for their prayers. They seem to be working. Continued prayers would be appreciated, of course. Good news or not this is no guarantee that she’ll change, and I imagine she’ll need all the heavenly help she can get if she intends to turn her life around and break free of her addictions.
Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. May she stay on the path of obedience to Christ and come to the fulness of salvation in body, soul, and spirit. We ask that through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for her and all who love and support her on her path of discipleship to Jesus.
