A tourist from Arizona passing through Times Square recently saw a New York City cop, Ofc. Louis Deprimo, buy a barefoot homeless man some boots on a cold night. She took a photo of it. It’s now gone viral. The Times has the story behind the picture.
Have no idea what the guy’s religion is. But then again, Jesus doesn’t note the theological views of the sheep who say (with some surprise since they were apparently unaware that Christ is in the poor and just thought they were doing the decent thing), “Lord, when did we see you freezing and shoeless, and buy you boots?”
