My father has been diagnosed with “spindle cell sarcoma” in a small patch on the side of his face. He will have surgery to have it removed soon. If it’s Stage 1 and hasn’t spread, all will be well, but if it’s past that, it means chemotherapy or radiation therapy and no certain outcome. So I’m asking for your prayers for a good outcome.
Father, hear our prayer for this man’s complete healing through Christ our Lord. Give his caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, knowledge and skill to eradicate the cancer and give all who love him grace, peace, and strength. Mother Mary, St. Luke and St. Peregrine, pray for them! Amen!
The reader who was nervous about entering the Church writes:
Everything went well on Saturday. And yes, Holy Communion was all I was expecting. Thank you for all the prayers.
Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

Just wanted to thank you and your other readers for their prayers; my grandfather passed away last night peacefully and just a few hours after being anointed. I believe that God provided the grace of a happy death and I am very grateful for that myself. Please pray for the repose of his soul and the consolation of our family. Thank you again!
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen!

I’m passing on a request about a friend’s grandson. The poor child has suffered terribly since birth. Thanks.
Sammy is having surgery on April 8, and we are recruiting prayer warriors. This time we hope the surgeons find something wrong, for example an adhesion in the small intestine that could be removed. Our worst result would be that they can’t find anything wrong, since Sammy has been throwing up almost everything he eats for the past several weeks. He is very weak and losing weight.
So that you are not at my memory’s mercy in getting updates, I’m including this link, where a childhood friend of Emily’s has created somewhat of a story about Sam, born with gastroschisis, and his travels through the halls of most of the local and some not-so-local hospitals. Progress notes will be posted. As you will see in the “journal” link, he is a veteran of many surgeries and procedures.
Father, grant complete healing to this child in body, soul and spirit to the glory of your Name. Give his caregivers, wisdom, skill, compassion, knowledge and grace to help him heal and give all who love him grace, strength, and peace. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Many moons ago, I wrote you that my wife was enrolled in RCIA, and asked for prayers that she continue to conversion. Well, last Saturday she was baptized, confirmed, and received her First Communion. I’m over the moon! Thanks for passing along the request, and to all who prayed for their help.
Father, all glory, honor and praise to your through our Lord Jesus Christ! Bless your daughter and help her and her family with your grace till they are safe in heaven. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for her! We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Eli entered a coma on Good Friday and passed away this morning surrounded by his family and loved ones. May light perpetual shine upon him. Thank you so much for praying for him.
Father, grant that he find eternal joy in union with the Risen Christ and may he and all who love him meet joyfully on That Day through Christ crucified and risen! Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

My brother just called: Michael’s Doctors told my brother that as of today Micheal is no longer in immanent danger of death. His brain swelling is down considerably, he still has a fever from the pneumonia but the temperature is down to their satisfaction and that infection seems to be getting its butt kicked but good in his lungs. Michael is coughing on his own, which is excellent news. His pupils are dilating as they should once again. Michael isn’t expected to be 100% out of the drug induced coma until Tuesday or Wed because phenobarbital stays in the system for 5 days and his last dose was Friday night. He is showing more signs of brain activity and the doctors don’t want him to become over stimulated. They’d like him to stay quiet for now so his brain can continue to heal. so that means he’s not to have family camping out 24/7 any more. Everyone has to observe visiting hours.
My brother is so grateful for the prayer for MICHAEL and the family. He understands that Michael’s still being alive right now is a total miracle. We’re coming upon two weeks on WED and Michael still has a long way to go, still. but he’s alive!! and healing. and I thank you all for coming to our aid with your prayers and support. May the Lord pour out graces upon you in return a thousandfold for all your prayers, acts of charity and kindness. I love you-all- thank you!
Father, hear our prayer for his complete healing in body, soul, and spirit to the glory of your Name. Continue supplying grace to all involved for that end–Michael, his caregivers, and his family and friends. Let your Name be glorified in everyone’s life through this. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
