Rush. Dude. Not everything is political. Not everything is about power. Stop, just for a moment, turning everything into some way of scoring points for Team GOP and just say, “Dear Lord! That’s horrible what’s happened in Haiti. Here’s where you can do something to help.” Don’t relate it to Tax Rage. Don’t analyze how those Dem SOBs are going to use it to jockey for power. Don’t shout down people who are appalled by your groteseque politicization of this horror. Just bracket the politics and the ideology and all the rest of it and pitch in and help somehow.
