Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Please pray for a friend and her family who have just lost their 13-month-old daughter. The little girl had a congenital heart disease, but was doing extremely well and seemed healthy. On Jan. 20, while they were staying in a holiday resort, she suddenly collapsed and died in her mother’s arms. Her parents, who are Lutheran Christians, and her 3-year-old brother are now trying to cope with the loss.

Father, hear our prayer for the repose of the soul of this little one and for grace, comfort, consolation, peace, and strength for those who love her.  Mother Mary, pray for them and welcome this little one into heaven.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen!
