This is an interesting story on the role of the West in sex selection and population control in Asia. It is the most overt article I have seen (in the BBC, no less) criticizing population control as a deliberate mechanism by the West to limit undesirable peoples.
Remarkable indeed to see the Beeb permit this departure from orthodoxy. Hope it signals more such perspective.
