A basic summary of the Generation Narcissus Ethos of Child-Rearing: Children are not gifts of God, but commodities to which we have rights. If I want a child then I have the right to force one into existence because he exists for *me*, not I for him. If I don’t want him, I have the right to kill him, because it’s all about *ME*.
