Irish Caesar Tries to Smash the Seal

I hope the Irish Church tells him to go to hell, but the spectacular incompetence and corruption of the Irish bishops is what made all this possible in the first place.

We seem to have dodged this particular bullet for the moment. But don’t imagine for a second somebody won’t again try to destroy the Seal on this side of the Pond. Caesar is a jealous god and doesn’t like secrets. Nor is he fond of the power to forgive sins. He deals in law and punishment himself and rankles at anything higher than himself, as all slaves of pride do.
