New Contest!

So today I open my email and have a note from somebody demanding:

Did you delete my post? And the one from the other guy mentioning abortion? Are you really that much of a wimp?

Mind you, I’m still wiping the sleep from eyes as I read this. I haven’t even checked the comboxes to see if people are Playing Well with Others. So I write back: “Could be. What post? Lots of posts mention abortion. Could you be specific?”

Then I go check my comboxes. There’s Larry, going on about HoloHoaxes and the normal tinfoil hat stuff. So I delete the post still don’t know what “the other guy” post is about, but then I didn’t read very carefully.

Anywho, Larry writes back to inform me that his post used the word “HoloHoax”, so I responded:

Ah! I hadn’t checked my comboxes this morning when I read your email. I found it after you wrote me and, yeah, I deleted it when I read it.

It’s funny that you were so certain you were a jerk that you actually assumed it was deleted before I had done so. Your pre-emptive belligerence is just one of the many fruits of the flesh I encounter in the deeply sick world of Rad Trads.

Take your nuttiness elsewhere.

PS. Don’t bother writing back with a lot of sturm und drang (appropriate language, eh?) about your Right to Free Speech. You have no such right on my blog. You are my guest and subject to my draconian but benevolent rule. If you want to spew stupid paranoia, start your own blog.

At which point, Larry replies with this highly amusing retort:

Apparently “Rad Trads” are your version of the demons-in-flesh that it is your business to eradicate…I wish you all the best. I am a Byzantine Catholic, not one of “them” at all. You have appointed yourself “exorcist” to cleanse the world of this “deep sickness”. So who is paranoid?

Congratulations on keeping your blog free of anything that would anger your real masters.

PS: Sturm und Drang should be capitalized (as are all German nouns)…You would know this if you had been educated.
