A reader writes:

My 89 year old Mom, Aurea, who broke her hip last March has been having ups & downs with health since. She’s been having some cognitive issues especially but right now is having other problems & isn’t doing very well. She had a great day yesterday but today she’s not doing well at all – difficulty breathing, very weak. Please pray for her. Thank you so much.

Father, hear our prayer for Aurea and for her family, that she could find respite and peace and they strength and grace in this difficult time. Prepare her soul for heaven in these last years and grant her the grace of eternal life in Christ Jesus at the end. We ask this through our Lord Jesus, your Son. Amen.
