Debtor’s Prison for Children

Family too poor to pay Juvenile Court fee?  Not a problem!  Here in the Land of the Free, we just lock up children.

But the *real* problem is some athlete who finds this so repulsive he won’t stand for the national anthem.

The Victorians will arise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it if we do not repent this damnable system; for they repented at the preaching of Dickens.
