Don’t Forget Your children and Family
The next priority after your marriage is your family. After all, ministry starts at home. 1 Timothy 5:8 says that if we do not care for our relatives and immediate family, then we deny the Christian faith and operate as unbelievers. What does making this a priority look like?
- Creating a family mission statement that intentionally values Christlike development.
- Spending time with your children to teach and raise them up as the next generation of leaders for Christ (Proverbs 22:6).
- Building up, encouraging, and supporting your family to walk and keep growing in love of God.
