New York’s Churches, 1878

Archive.org has an 1878 book available for online viewing titled The Catholic Church in New York City. (In 1878, New York City meant Manhattan. Not for another twenty years would all five boroughs be united.) This book has line drawings of every Manhattan church and its pastor, along with a history and biography of each.
