Some of you will recall that I’ve used my platform to put out appeals in the past for the Ugandan Good Samaritan Initiative. They are a grassroots NGO devoted to supporting orphans and vulnerable children. Grassroots NGO’s in the Global South have a tremendous challenge finding supporters from the US because we tend to only trust and support top-down charity organizations based in the US like Compassion International or World Vision. GSI is partnered with a 501-C3 mission organization called the Global Belief Project where you can donate by writing “Good Samaritan Initiative” in the comment section. Please consider supporting their latest appeal.

NARROW THE GAP OF POVERTY: DONATE TO SUPPORT VULNERABLE CHILDREN

Good Samaritan Initiative (GSI) in conjunction with some friends in the United States of America is working around the clock to see that the poverty gap is narrowed. These friends of GSI are collecting second-hand or old clothes to be donated to poor families in Uganda. GSI identified people that will benefit from this opportunity.

GSI is kindly asking you to donate money that will meet the costs of shipping the barrels of these old clothes to Uganda. Pastor Moses Paul and his colleagues are most likely to collect 5 barrels of clothes and each may cost about $300 to reach its destination. About $1500 is needed to facilitate shipment of the cargo.

Please narrow the gap of poverty by making a financial contribution towards this cause.

Thanks!
