Missional Monday: Wild Goose Reverberates, Deep Theology Discussion, The $135 Missional Book In My Hands!

Here’s a recap of last week’s major highlights from the missional conversation:

• Wild Goose Festival 2012 continues to reverberate for those of us who were there for the East Coast rendition last week. I’ve been doing a bit of curating to pull together the best links/articles, videos, and tweets, as well as posting some more of my own personal reflections.
• Yes, The Missional Church Needs a Deep Theology stirred up some good cross-channel discussion. I’m especially grateful to Dr. Kyle Roberts from Bethel Seminary, Adriene Buffington, and Gary Simpson and Scott Frederickson from Luther Seminary for enlivening the discussion. May it continue! • Galaxy Quest for Missional Nephilim! — in case you missed this Sunday funny, posted over the weekend. It is a joke and intended to be a joke, thankfully.
• Remember the $135 book on missional church? Well, thanks to Linda Ford from Phillips Theological Seminary, who read my blog post (and hung out with me at Wild Goose Festival a little bit), I am now holding a copy (Linda’s copy) of that very book! And according to Linda, copies are now going for $155 on Amazon as of this week. Thanks for letting me borrow the book, Linda! I promise to get it back to you in good shape.
