Here’s our latest communication from the folks at ReFrame about their success in bringing work and life together.

The variety and diversity of the ReFrame stories we’re hearing are a huge encouragement to us.

In Washington state, a retired consultant thought he’d try ReFrame with inmates at the Prison Ministry he volunteered with. The results were beyond what he could have hoped for. In Vancouver, BC a school’s administration team realized that in order to rethink how they were teaching the Bible, they themselves needed to be reminded of the power and beauty of the gospel. They tried ReFrame, and their whole-staff had a profound encounter with scripture that brought them together and reminded them of the sacredness of their ordinary work.

NEWS: ReFrame Goes Global

Reframe Goes Global

We are thrilled to announce the launch of ReFrame with French, Spanish, and English subtitles. Translations are now available in both digital and DVD formats on the ReFrame website.

With courses running in 26 countries, we continue to hear of ReFrame’s relevance to a global audience. This past summer, the Lausanne Movement began using ReFrame as a training tool with 1,000 young leaders from 150 countries around the world. Read the full story

NEWS: ReFrame has launched!

From our friends at The Washington Institute for Faith, Culture, and Vocation. RSVP for the Nov. 10 launch event here.

ReFrame is a 10 week video-based discipleship course that helps you answer questions such as “how does my story fit into God’s story,” and “does my day-to-day life matter to God.” It features lectures by Regent College faculty, interviews with prominent Christian thought-leaders, and stories of everyday Christians asking questions about how the Gospel reframes their lives.

The list of speakers involved in the project includes, but is not limited to Eugene Peterson, J. I. Packer, Paul Williams, Amy Sherman, Andy Crouch, Steven Garber, Eliud Wabukala, Sally Lloyd-Jones, amongst many others!

It is our hope you will take part in this exciting new study and help to spread the word about its availability. You can now purchase ReFrame as either a digital package or a physical copy. (Please note that physical copies will ship mid-November).

Thankful for ReFrame launch late October

As Thanksgiving approaches for all our Canadian friends this weekend, we’re delighted to announce that ReFrame will be launching this month. After many months in the making, the launch of ReFrame is less than 3 weeks away!

You will be the first to know the minute we hit the go-live button, but in the meantime, we wanted to share some more of what you can expect in the weeks to come. A few weeks ago we let you know over on the Visions of Vocation blog about a new curriculum coming out from Regent College in association with theWashington Institute for Faith, Vocation, and Culture. called ReFrame. We recently got more information and links to an entire episode preview, so we thought we’d pass them on! You can sign up to get regular emails about the curriculum here.

ReFrame Coming this Fall

We are excited to announce that ReFrame will be officially launched this Fall!

ReFrame is a film-based discipleship resource that explores how to connect faith with all of life. Ten 40-minute episodes will explore how Christ reframes our lives and our world through TED-style talks from Regent faculty, together with interviews with on-the-ground practitioners and other thought leaders. ReFrame will be available for purchase in either download or DVD format, together with full-colour leader and participant guides.

ReFrame will be available for purchase through the website, where the resource can be downloaded digitally, or mailed as a physical DVD. Full-colour leader and participant guides are also included in digital or hardcopy formats, depending on your purchase choice.

When does ReFrame start?

When ReFrame is launched this Fall, you are welcome to begin the course as soon as you’re ready. Many leaders will want to review the materials and galvanise support in their church or organisation, and will likely begin running courses in January 2015.

What do I need to run a course?

ReFrame is designed to be run in groups in churches and communities around the world. All of the content you need is included in the episodes, together with additional resources designed to help you dig deeper. The recommended template for your time together takes about 2 hours, but this can be adjusted to work in your context.

What is required of a Leader?

ReFrame is designed to be a self-contained course. The role of the leader is to create a space for conversation and dialogue around the central themes of each session, rather than to have all the answers. Leader Guides include tips for effective facilitation, together with specific notes for each session.

How much does ReFrame cost?

Download: $89, includes PDFs of the Leader and Participant guides.

Hard-copy (DVD and books): $139, including 1 Leader Guide and 5 Participant Guides. Additional guides are available for $12 each.

Digital License for Organizations: For larger organisations who want to run multiple courses at the same time, digital licenses will be available to help cost efficiency.

Gift-economy: ultimately, we don’t want anyone to miss out on ReFrame due to cost, so for those that need it, substantially reduced-rates will be available.
