The Mormon Therapist
Hi I was just wondering if you know some therapists in Utah that are good? If there are any at the UofU Hospital or close to Layton?
Unfortunately, since I live and practice in Wichita, KS I am not as familiar with my colleagues in Utah. I have the intent to somehow have a page on this site that would advertise LDS therapists that have gone through some type of screening process with me, but I haven’t quite figured out how I want to go about this.
If anyone who is reading this might have a suggestion, please post under “comments.”
In the meantime, I would recommend going to aamft.com and looking under “therapist locator.” At least therapists on this list serve would be licensed and trained in a systems approach which I find useful in treating my clients.
