I am looking into the possibility of hosting a full-day workshop (9am to 5 or 6 pm) for Mormon mixed-faith couples in the Salt Lake City/Park City, Utah area on December 27, 2014. I will be in town visiting family and I thought others might also be in Utah for the holidays who normally are not. This workshop will provide education, boundaries, strategies and experiential exercises that will help couples navigate the difficulty of having one member transitioning away from Mormonism while the other is not. It will focus mainly on couple dynamics, but will also include about 25% parenting dynamics. Because of the experiential exercises, I want to limit the group to about 15-20 couples max. Depending on the venue I can find the cost would range between $250-300. Lunch would be included. And the opportunity to meet others in a similar situation is usually very valuable (reported by those who have attended similar workshops). If you are interested in attending such an event please email me at natasha.parker@sbcglobal. I will only hold it if I am able to fill the slots.
