I’ve interviewed Dr. Nicole Prause for Mormon Sex Info and been on a panel with her discussing this very issue at length. Let’s please educate ourselves and our children/teens appropriately. It affects the ability to attain effective treatment for real problems…. it affects avoiding unnecessary shaming when the issue is more about values discrepancies… and it affects accountability for criminal and abusive behavior. What we name this DOES matter!!
