1. Meditation & Reflection
In the fast-paced world that we live in today, it can be difficult to put all of our distractions aside and just think. Even if we have downtime, we find ourselves reaching for our smart phones and TV remotes without giving it a second thought. But there’s something about pausing everything and reflecting, or spending time out in nature thinking about God’s creation, which fulfills us in a way that technology and socialization can’t do. It’s also something Prophet Muhammad (saws) used to do in the Cave of Hira, and there’s a lot of wisdom in this. If you ever find yourself feeling overwhelmed or empty, this practice is definitely worth trying.
