Video Tribute by Hillary Clinton to Slain U.S. Army Captain Humayun Khan – Good

Before Khizr Khan’s tribute to his son, a new video was released at the DNC featuring a tribute from Hillary Clinton to Army Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq. It focused on an excerpt from a speech Clinton made in December on national security, when she honored Captain Khan. Captain Khan was a graduate of the University of Virginia and one of 14 American Muslims who died while serving the United States in a military capacity since 9/11. In the video, Clinton hailed Khan’s exemplary service, saying it “exemplifies the United States at its best – a country that derives great strength by embracing and celebrating our diversity.”
