Visionary Vicka: “We were born for eternity” Is Medjugorje a Great Challenge for Atheists and Their Core Beliefs?

For me it has been a long running frustration that the small cadre of atheists who have carved out a lucrative business of making fun of  Christianity by pointing at the rantings of  bigoted pastors  have never taken on Medjugorje or Guadalupe or Fatima. Who could put these things in motion? Who could invent them? A man? No, this is not the work of a human being.”

The Bill Maher’s of the world make jokes about the Old Testament and laugh all the way to the bank. They are certain that everything has been answered. Religion and faith have been defeated by science and reason.

Randall Sullivan, a former Rolling Stones reporter and  trained investigative journalist, on the other hand, spent eight years trying to crack the Medjugorje code. He gave up finally and decided; in the end, that everything about Medjugorje was true and he became a believer.  That’s the incredible thing about Medjugorje and it is why Medjugorje has endured and grown. Spend time with Medjugorje, with an open mind, and soon the phenomenon becomes this great impossible mystery.

What is special about Medjugorje, and what makes it the greatest mystery of modern times, is that nobody on earth, including the Pope, with his army of thousands of trained theologians. doctors and priests, has been able to explain why six normal people keep telling the world that the Virgin Mary is appearing to them as millions of people pay attention to their every word.

But that is only half the story – much more significant and, quite frankly, a much harder thing to invent, is that when the Virgin Mary comes, she brings sublime messages of peace for the world, and these simple messages from Heaven have created a spiritual movement that is unsurpassed in modern times.

To the skeptics – a challenge: Go find me six teenagers, unrelated to each other, and tell them to invent a worldwide religious phenomenon, a phenomenon that would last for decades, a phenomenon that would bring joy to millions of people including Bishops, Cardinals, and Popes and keep it all a secret.

After thirty plus years, the six visionaries still claim ‘We see what we see”, and for millions of people that narrative continues to be the best explanation behind the truth of Medjugorje.

Medjugorje at the time of this writing continues to be the most significant unexplained spiritual mystery of modern times.

Don’t believe for a minute that scientists have discovered that God does not exist – quite the contrary. Renowned , Harvard Medical School neurologist , Dr. Eben Alexander , says

“What that scientific module fails to tell you is they have gotten closer to realizing that the origin of consciousness is probably forever beyond our understanding. They have gotten closer to realizing that, in fact, we have no clue how consciousness could come out of the physical brain. The boundaries of science must be broadened greatly. Don’t believe for one second that the physics community is close to explaining the consciousness out of the physical brain. It’s the most profound mystery ever known.”

Medjugorje visionaries say that our consciousness is a profound mystery and that we are granted free will by our creator and our consciousness is eternal. Vicka says “We were born for eternity.”

But Medjugorje offers us something more. Medjugorje offers us a clear, loving path to salvation and a certain return to our loving creator . The Virgin Mary, at Medjugorje, says God gave us free will and with this gift, God also allows us to choose to be with his son in Heaven – or choose to turn away; it us up to each of us to decide.

With Medjugorje, the promise of Heaven is assured. It is the readers choice to freely make.
