Women Love Sophia “Steadfast”

When I went to Dallas, Texas last weekend I was interested to discover that my most popular Sophia drawing is “Steadfast”… the one above with the rhino. I’ve sold the original as well as many prints of it online. But it was a unique experience to be in the presence of women fascinated by Sophia. So many identified with her.

Several women shared with me how this image expresses an incident in their lives where they were up against insurmountable odds. Some of them, even against the advice of loved ones, stood their ground. And to this day every one of them are glad they did.
