Eid-ul-Adha is a day rich with blessings, spiritual growth, and fellowship. Around the world, Muslims follow the sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saws) and dress in their finest to worship and, let’s be honest, party! So, one of the many things this blessed day brings is a chance for some fun and fashion.

I let Muslims know early in the day that I would be scanning social media and the famous #blackouteid for threads and looks. They did not disappoint. As a matter fact, the made it HARD to choose!

**AAMVE (African American Muslim Vernacular English) Lesson – I use the word “khimar” and not “hijab.” That’s what I was taught, and I am sticking to it.

First, a special shout out to Islamic scholar Tamara Gray (right), who took a minute out of her busy travels to send me this awesome pic:

Now let’s look how NbA Muslims were snatching edges this Eid.
