Following are my 2026 plans for this blog

We’ll continue the Finding Yourself series, which delves into how to find yourself in many of the difficult circumstances life throws at us. It’s easy to forget who we are when the walls of current circumstances crumble away. God is our rock and guide.

Next series: The next series will be Finding Meaning and Purpose in life.

Stylistically: For quicker reading, several modern reader conventions will be added. The 60-second quick read. Bolded significant parts of sentences. A list of headings will appear at the top for easy reference and maybe be linked. If WordPress supports it here, there will be expanding topic headings to make reading more personalized. You can read more about style and reaching modern readers at https://dorianscottcole.com/on_writing/creating_engaging_content.php

References: Most of my work is well researched, and references are listed. While Jesus sets us on the right path, it’s a difficult climb and easy to get lost, so I add helpful personal and social psychology to the articles, with references. This makes the climb easier. I will likely add more narrative (story) style, which provides a better framework for many readers.

Emphasis: I’ll continue the “practical spirituality” emphasis. On my Author’s website I will create deeper dives into these topics and link these to Patheos articles. (Visit DorianScottCole.com/spirituality )

Others invited: I hope that others will add their perspectives on these topics on their blogs. I’m not a “jealous writer.”

Our answer is God; God’s answer is us; Together we make the world better.”
