What does race have to do with covenant?

Come to Samford University next Tuesday and Wednesday and find out.

Fourteen speakers from around the country and Israel will talk about national covenant–the idea that God deals with whole countries.  

The premise of the conference is that American slavery of blacks was a mortal sin against the national covenant, and our continuing racial troubles are a kind of exile from the land.

But the covenant always opens ways for repentance and reconciliation.
