I absolutely love these topiaries from Ballards Designs, but I can’t afford them at $50 a pop, so I searched for a thrifty way to copy and make some of my own. On a recent garage sale jaunt, I found these rose covered topiaries for $3.
I thought they would be perfect to make a topiary of my own, so I went to town – plucked the roses until each topiary was bare.
I found these boxwood balls for $3 each.
I noticed they opened up, but it was too small to cover the ball.
So I shaved the styrofoam down a bit.
And covered each one with the boxwood.
Now my entry table looks fresh with a new display for less than $10!!
I love a good deal!
Not too shabby, if I say so myself.
